Set in a delightful position amidst breathtaking countryside, High Oxnop is a beautifully restored eighteenth century Dales farmhouse, together with an attached barn conversion, providing self-catering accommodation for up to 9 people.

Nestling amongst the meadows of Oxnop Ghyll, rich in flora and birdlife, with a stream running by, High Oxnop is peacefully isolated... the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern urban life.

Make yourself at home in the comfortable beamed lounge, where you'll find a colour satellite television, and enjoy meals in the charming dining room. In the spacious farm-house kitchen you will find all you need - full size cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dish-washer, and in the utility room there's a washer/dryer.

The house is centrally heated with a feature multi-fuel burner. It has its own spring water supply. Which is run through a purifying filter. There is a telephone for your use.

Outside, High Oxnop has a large garden complete with extensive patio area with seats and barbecue. There is plenty of parking space.

The house has four bedrooms - two twin, one double and one family room - all beautifully furnished and having wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. One bedroom features an original old garderobe. There is a downstairs shower room/toilet and 2 bathrooms upstairs - one with a bath, the other with a shower. All linen is provided. Sorry, no smoking and no pets.

There are a host of places to visit nearby, as well as some of England's most dramatic countryside to explore. The ancient castles of Richmond, Middleham and Castle Bolton are sure to capture your imagination, while the natural beauty of Aysgarth Falls & Hardraw Force will leave you enthralled.


High Oxnop is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park - Herriot Country - an environmentally sensitive area renowned for its stone walls, barns, picturesque villages and flora.

We are easily found just off the B6270.
